Sage Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 package sage leaves (approx. a handful)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Directions tear sage into large pieces. Combine sugar and water in a container and add sage leaves, stirring until most of the sugar is dissolved. Muddle sage in the syrup and let sit 1-2 hours, stirring and muddling occasionally. Strain syrup into another container and discard the leaves. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
