I have to give credit to our good friend Bob K. for this St. Patrick’s Day drink, who only drinks his beer as an Irish car-bomb. After seeing this man enjoy mixed drinks and shots over the years, it was a big surprise when he came over one night with Guinness in one hand and Baileys & Jameson in the other. This drink is a fun, shot-sized play on Guinness (with the help of some Baileys) sure to take you to the next level.

St. Patrick’s Day is the one day of the year when it is acceptable to wake up, start drinking, and be hammered by noon. Hopefully this shot will get you warmed up for your day of marathon drinking. It’s also great for those that aren’t fans of the traditional March 17th favorites, Guinness and Irish whiskey.

Ingredients:

  • Kahlua
  • Baileys

Method:

  • Get a shot glass
  • Pour Kahlua in glass until about ¾ full
  • Place a spoon upside down over the shot glass
  • Slowly pour the Baileys over the spoon to float on the Kahlua

Pour 2 Pour 4 Pour 5
It’s the same technique as a Black & Tan!

It looks the part, while being sweet, delicious and easy to drink!
Have a round with friends and see what you think.

Cheers!
